New digs

Tue Mar 24, 2009, 4:31 AM
I have been fairly lax in keeping my sites up to date lately as I am without any real internet access (by choice). I have access on my mobile which is pretty limiting and occasionally on a laptop if I am in a hotspot, but that doesn't happen often. I have moved to a great place in country Victoria on 14 acres which I am loving, lots of photo opportunities but I have to get pretty organized before I can upload aything; for now I am just updating my facebook page instead. Eventually though I imagine I will get the bug to start uploading again. Anyway just thought I'd bring this page up to date on the offchance that anyone cares...

I may be gone for some time...

On the 4th of August I will be moving away to a house without internet access. So if you leave me a message or something and you don't hear back, that will be why...

Thankyou

A big thankyou to whoever purchased a 20x30 inch print of rsp-a-a24! I will be using part of the profits from this sale to purchase some advertising on DA, and also to purchase a copy of my "Orchids of Singapore" calander which I will post some photographs of once I receive it.

If whoever purchased the print could upload a photo I would love to see it!

Thanks again and I hope you enjoy it!

New Series: "Western Australian Spring"

I'm finally ready to start uploading some of the photos I took on my recent trip to Perth and Pemberton in WA. There are an awful lot, even after I culled a large percentage, so it will probably tkae a while to get through them... as I am having trouble using DA's ftp service at the moment it will take even longer as I will have to upload each image using the web page... anyway I hope you enjoy them.

DA Customer "Service"

Mon Oct 8, 2007, 9:54 PM
Just over two weeks ago I decided to look into the possibility of getting an "adcast" (ie advertising my ppage on DA through their internal advertising scheme). I had $21.50 in "deviant dollars" and the cheapest service cost $23.00... unfortunately there seems to be no way of making up the difference any other way so I would have to pay the whole thing in cash and my deviant dollars would remain unused (these are dollars I have earned through print sales). So I thought I'd post in the forums for the first time and ask if there was some way around this. Now the person who started the "Adcast comments and suggestions" thread ([link]) that I posted it on has visiited the forums and left posts, but despite the fact that I have since posted again asking for a respons my query has been completely ignored... did I say something wrong?? Or is this the level of customer service that is normal around here?

Anyone else had any experiences like this?
